I'm your host, Michael Palmer, and today's show is going to be a fantastic one. Our returning guest is the owner of Capture Bookkeeping in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Stephanie Kelsey, welcome back to the show. Thank you so much for having me again, Michael. It's a great pleasure to be here. It's great to have you. And you know, you've been on the show before and I'd love to hear kind of what have you been doing lately and maybe just give a little background to you yourself, how you ended up doing what you're doing for those that may have not heard you on the podcast before.
Stephanie Kelcey with HUB ad (February 11, 2025): Sure. So I started bookkeeping back in 2007. I was promoted into a managerial position when I was working at a commercial photography and film production studio. And that role involved bookkeeping, which I had had no experience with previously and really got thrown into the role. But really loved it. And so, you know, after a couple of kids, when I decided I didn't want to be doing the commute, I was living in Burlington at that point, into Toronto, you know, 3 hours of commuting with 2 kids just didn't work for me anymore. So I decided to take the bookkeeping piece of what I was doing and I started a little solopreneur business in 2011, and then that just kind of organically grew as my children grew and they needed me less. I could spend more time in my business and, you know, it just, it grew from there. And then in 2019, I incorporated and, and that's been an interesting process as well as I've gone through some life changes. So. That, that's like the bookkeeping piece.
