I'm Louie Prosperi. Our guest is the VP of HR at Payworks. Jennifer Johnson, welcome to the show. Hi, Louie. Thank you so much for having me today. We are very excited to have you here, Jennifer. We'd also like to know a little bit about Payworks. And on top of that, I'd also like to know your start and your humble beginnings as well.
Oh, great. Gosh, it's always tough when you have to talk about yourself, but I'll tell you a little bit about myself and how I'm fortunate enough now to be here at Payworks. I've been with Payworks for just over 16 months. And prior to that, I worked in some larger organizations, a global organization, and I spent a lot of time having fun around the area of talent management. And some folks might ask, what's talent management? Is it another HR lingo kind of word that way? But talent management is really looking at talent and how we're guiding our organizations on talent. So things like engagement, employee experience, talent, and succession planning. So I've had a lot of fun doing that over the years. And I think I ended up in HR when I was doing my MBA. I did a focus in executive leadership and strategic HR. And I think recognizing the impact that HR can have on organizations and creating great workplaces for people to come and have good careers is something that excites me. So I found my passion here. I've been in the HR space now for I consider a good amount of time. So you're not going to tell us how many years. Fair enough. I get it. I get it. That's good. It's all on LinkedIn.
