And ChatGPT has been the conversation not only in the bookkeeping industry, but pretty much every other industry on the planet likely over the last several months. And so I'm really excited about this conversation. And before we get into all of that, I'd love to know your career journey leading up to this point so our listener can get to know you?
Nicolas Boucher includes Practice Protect ad (Oct 24): Yeah, thank you, Michael. Actually, it started like maybe a lot of finance people who are listening to this podcast. As a kid, I loved money and I loved also business and I loved using computers. So because of that, I was thinking about what should I do after, and I went naturally in finance. Counting money, using my business appetite and using the technology to work well and get good performance. But the first day that I entered an audit, because I worked for PwC for 7 years, I got a bit shocked about how well the auditors in front of me, who had 2 years more than me as experience, what they could do in Excel. And I just got humbled on my first day and all of my standards on Excel just went like 100 times above what I thought could be a good Excel user. And but as quickly I learned from these guys and from these girls and became myself also a good expert at Excel
