And I'd love to hear your journey from working through— sounds like the corporate world into copy editing, into becoming a professional bookkeeper and starting Fine Points Bookkeeping. Let's, let's, uh, hear that backstory.
Yeah, for sure. So yeah, my background really had nothing to do with bookkeeping, which a lot of people are surprised by sometimes. Um, but yeah, so I was an English major in college, and then yeah, my first job out of college was copy editing. Well, I was working at the Target headquarters in Minnesota, and I did a variety of jobs for them. So I was kind of happy there, but then when I had my first kid, I stayed home with her, so I quit my full-time job to stay home with my daughter. And then at that point, after about a year, I was like, oh, I'd like to, you know, maybe do a little something or contribute to my family's income. And I actually had a friend that was a bookkeeper, and so she was the one who kind of like got me started. She encouraged me. She was like, it's kind of a good match for your skill set. Beautiful.
