I'm your host, Michael Palmer, and today's show is going to be a good one. Our guest is the president and CEO of eFile Cabinet, which is a document management software company. Jesse Wood, welcome to the show. Thank you so much. Great to be on here, Michael. It's great to have you. And you know, I am excited to hear what you're working on over there at eFile Cabinet and how you're helping bookkeepers be more automated and, and get back to the, the the reason why they started their business and really enjoying their business a lot more. So I'm excited about this episode. And before we get into all of that, Jesse, please tell us a little bit about yourself and your career path leading up until now.
Jesse Wood (Aug 6): You bet. So I'm a Canadian from Alberta, Canada, transplant into the United States. So our headquarters here is in Salt Lake City, Utah. And my background, you say my career path until now, I actually started educationally in school. Was going into dentistry and for many reasons and that I won't explain here, that just was not a fit for me. I didn't wanna go into that medical profession. And so I switched gears and went into business. And right while I was in college, I got a hankering for starting businesses. And so I started, believe it or not, an automation business. This is almost 25 years ago now. And so when I started that automation business, it was literally smart home technology and automation things. And so I got, I come from that background and that world. And when I did that, we made some crazy things happen in some crazy houses. That market didn't really take off until maybe 10 years past my time as that. I'd moved on since then into some technology departments and staying really in the automation industry. So I worked for an automated lighting control company called
