I'm your host, Michael Palmer, and today's show is going to Be fantastic. Our returning guest is the owner and founder of Springstead Solutions, Christina Springstead. Welcome to the show. Thank you so much for having me back. Excited to be here. Oh, it's great to have you. And let's start off with what's been happening since you were last on the show. Oh my goodness. So much has been happening. When I was last on, I was getting ready to hire my full-time operations manager that was coming on board and really diving into all of that and being in, uh, since then she has actually sadly left. And so it has been, yeah, it has been the adjusting to when a key employee leaves and how do you pick up those pieces and get ready to replace that piece. And then also really dialing in on niching and, you know, all the training that we get in bookkeepers is niching and specialization. Where was I going kind of after losing that key employee and what is business going to look like? So All of the highs of running your own business. Well, I mentioned to talk about niching. Yeah, I just had to use it. That's a dad joke. That's a dad pun or something like that. I'm here for it.
Michael Palmer: Yeah, perfect. Well, well, that's— that is very interesting. And I almost want to say exciting to talk about both of them because— but it's not so exciting to lose key people, but it is exciting to hear the learnings from it. And I am so excited for our listener to dig into that. And I know we're gonna be talking about cleanup and rescue jobs. Before we get to that, let's just go through and talk a little bit about those two key pieces, hiring the staff. And I've had lots of conversations.
