Debbie Roberts: My mission in my bookkeeping business was to empower business owners around their finances by removing confusion, fear, and uncertainty and replacing it with clarity, freedom, and control. I was passionate about small businesses. He said I could make a bigger difference if I was helping other bookkeepers to empower their clients than I could just if I was working on my own clients. There's a finite amount of time, there's a finite amount of space that you can service, and there's a finite amount of businesses. It's just physically impossible. He said, if you were able to help other bookkeepers by providing them with these systems that you've created in your business and some guidance and support, imagine your mission of empowering business owners around their finances.
