Hi, thanks for having me. I'm excited to be here. Well, it's great to have you, and I really want to get our listener to know who you are. So why don't we start there with a little bit of how did you end up doing what you're doing today?

Well, back when I was in college, my dad needed a bookkeeper and he wanted somebody that he could trust and he thought I would be a good fit. I knew nothing about bookkeeping, but I started doing bookkeeping for his company and he had multiple businesses. So I started doing bookkeeping for all of his companies and I did that for a long time, over 15 years. And then my husband and I decided that we wanted to sail around the world on a sailboat and I wanted to work remotely. So I went to my dad and I said, "Dad, can I do my job remote?" And he was like, "No, no, I need you in the office." And I thought, well, you know, I really think I can do my job remotely. And I just happened upon a blog post that was start a virtual bookkeeping business.
