Today's guest is a CPA, solo firm owner, founder of Tax Suite, and AI innovator using tools like Claude to dramatically streamline tax and accounting workflows. Sam Leon, welcome to the show. And sorry about that, should have said Leon, but my apologies, Sam.
[01:24] Sam Leon: Oh yeah, no worries. Yeah, thanks for the intro.
[01:29] Michael Palmer: So, Sam, tell us a little bit about yourself.
[01:31] Sam Leon: Yeah, sure. I am a CPA and accountant, tax accountant primarily. And, you know, I've been doing this for about 14 years. And last year I decided to, you know, kind of leverage my experience at different firms to go out on my own and start The Millennial CPA, you know, where I currently work with clients pretty much exclusively on tax issues, you know, corporate tax, you know, working with startups, newly emerging startups, R&D credits, and individual tax. And, you know, part of my passion too for starting The Millennial CPA was getting to leverage different accounting and tax technologies. And, you know, that, that side of my interest has really taken off, you know, led to me being recognized in the 2026 Accounting Today Best Firms for Technology Awards. And just since then and building on that, I've really continued to be building AI tools both for my own firms and, and starting to offer it to others as well.
