1. Our commitment

Keeping your data safe is a core responsibility at The Successful Bookkeeper. This policy describes the safeguards we use to protect the information you share with us across our website, community, and learning platforms.

2. Data storage and backups

Your data is written to durable, redundant storage and backed up on a regular schedule. Backups are encrypted, and we retain them only as long as needed to provide a reliable recovery point.

3. Encryption in transit

All data exchanged between you and our platforms is encrypted and served over HTTPS. Whenever your information is in transit, it is protected with modern transport-layer encryption.

4. Hosting and infrastructure

We host our services with established cloud infrastructure providers whose data centres employ state-of-the-art physical and operational security. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.

5. Payments

We do not store full payment card details on our own servers. Payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant payment providers, who handle and store cardholder data on our behalf.

6. Access control

Access to systems and customer information is granted on a least-privilege basis and reviewed regularly. We use authentication controls to limit who can reach sensitive data.
