Our guest is an AI educator, strategist, and speaker who helps professionals future-proof their careers. Ben Tasker, welcome to the show.
[01:11] Benjamin Tasker: Thanks for having me on the show, Michael. Yes, I'm excited to help your listeners navigate like what I like to call the AI between times, that awkward time period where all individuals are navigating right now. We're not exactly out of the past. We're still stuck on those old processes, systems that work, but we're not exactly into that AI future yet with the robot overlords. I have over 10 years of experience in AI. My expertise is increasing AI adoption and capability. I help entrepreneurs to large organizations. I really help organizations develop strategies on how to align to the AI revolution.
[01:50] Michael Palmer: Nice. Well, I think it's a good time to be doing the work you're doing, and I'm sure our listener has lots of questions. I'm sure this episode will be a very popular one. So how did you end up doing what you're doing today?
[02:04] Benjamin Tasker: Like most jobs, AI is going to augment many careers, and my career is augmented by AI. It's not by intention. So I have a data science and teaching background. I actually started with an undergrad. I wanted to run a hospital. Some of the first tasks I was given at a hospital was try to figure out patient demands. And that seems like a very simple question, but at this time period, which wasn't that long ago, within the last decade, trying to find these patient volumes, I had to go to clinical offices.
