And today, this is part 2 of a special 2-part episode series with Carrie Buffard, who is the owner of Advantage Bookkeeping, a Xero expert, and a pure bookkeeping licensee. In this episode, we'll talk about how she's using Xero skills to help pure bookkeeping licensees and her thoughts on the importance of having business systems. Let's take you to that conversation right now. Now, you have been working on the Xero manuals. We call them manuals. They're standard operating procedures. It's not like a bookkeeping software manual. It's very different. Yeah. But how long has that been taking you to do that? I started on this last July.
Kerri Bouffard: So we're probably going to be about a year to do— by the time we beta test it, review it, do all that good stuff, it's a good solid year. And that's been our experience. In writing manuals and rewriting manuals over the years, the last decade, is that it always requires updating, rewriting, all that good stuff. And usually to punch out a new manual, it's about a year of writing, and not just one person, but multiple people, reviewers, beta testers, all sorts of pieces. Did you think it would be that difficult? No. Now, I'm coming in I know Xero, but coming into it, I didn't know the Pure Bookkeeping system. So there was a lot of, you know, okay, well, I know Xero and I know how the transactions work and, you know, how to do this. And I'm basing this on the, the existing training program that was going through there. And then I get, get in, I'm like, I really got that in-depth learning of how Pure Bookkeeping works with Xero.
