But before we get too far down that path, I'd love for you to share with our listener a little bit about you and your career journey leading up to this point.

Sure, I'm happy to. Trying to keep a long story short, I found myself into the accounting field by accident. I— it was not my goal. I was going to college for something else, but while I was in college, I had the opportunity to assist a business that was in the middle of an audit and did not have a bookkeeper. And I found that I had a good affinity to it, that the numbers made sense. And going back a little, it should have been a hint to me that I used to like doing my parents' taxes when I was younger, but I had not connected those dots until I had actually helped a company, and they were so impressed that they offered me a position.
