I started where you are.
At a kitchen table, after the day was done.
I didn't set out to build a coaching company. I set out to do good work for a handful of clients — at my kitchen table, nights and weekends, the way so many of you are doing it right now. What I learned the hard way is that being a brilliant bookkeeper and building a business around bookkeeping are two completely different skills.
I grew The Marcam Group from that kitchen table into a real firm with a real team — and to get there I had to learn the things nobody teaches you in this work: how to price, how to hire, how to build systems, and how to stop being the bottleneck in my own business. None of it came naturally to me. All of it turned out to be learnable.
Today I'm the CEO of The Successful Bookkeeper Global. I lead every program cohort, host our monthly Hot Seat, headline the Summit, and wrote Beyond Bookkeeping for the owner who senses there's more on the other side of the spreadsheet. Everything I teach, I've lived first — and there's nothing I'd rather do than walk it with you.
